Kentaur was established in 1990 by Bernt Dahl. Kentaur has become a globally leading brand in the HoReCa & Retail sector. Also known as Hospitality. Dressing plenty of well known Chefs, Top-Restaurants, National Culinary Teams, Hotels, Caterer and Retail customers like REWE in Germany. The distribution takes place through Dealers, Webshop and mainly Heavy duty laundries, renting the garments to end users. Kentaur also supply the european Health Segment and Food Industry.

The foundation “Value for Textile Service” symbolizes that Kentaur has with its business understanding and innovative views on functional workwear created strong ties to large parts of the global laundry industry. “We want to make a difference in the market through sustainable collections, service, innovation & design, long lasting quality and colourfastness, a long product life cycle as well as high delivery security” says Partner and CCO Christian Beirholm

The head office is located in Fredericia, Denmark, where approx. 45 employees are employed. In addition, Kentaur employs approx. 350 – 400 employees in own subsidiaries in Norway, UAE, Poland, and Serbia. Additional approx. 400 employees with a permanent partner in Vietnam.
